Second Grade Supply List

These supplies are for individual use. Please print your child’s name on these items before arriving at school. You may want to drop off items during “Meet the Teacher” hours to avoid overloaded book bags.

· 1 book bag (no rollers – doesn’t fit in cubby)

· 6 wide-ruled marble composition notebooks (NO spiral-bound notebooks)

· (Used for homework, math, and reading throughout the year)

· 4 two-pocket folders – no prongs (your choice of colors or designs)

· 1 notebook 3 prong binder (1 inch width – larger ones take up too much space inside desk)

These supplies are collected and shared throughout the year. Please do NOT label with your child’s name.

· 1 box of 24-count crayons

· 2 packs of wide-ruled loose-leaf paper

· 2 boxes of plain #2 pencils (12 count or more)

· 1 package of pencil cap erasers

· 4 or more glue sticks

· 1 pack of copy paper

· 2 boxes of tissues

· 1 roll of paper towels OR 1 container of Clorox wipes

· 1 box of “Heavy Duty” freezer bags (with zipper) OR 1 bottle of hand sanitizer

- Last name begins with A – L need quart size

- Last name begins with M – Z need gallon size

Please NO markers, scissors, pencil sharpeners, or specialty items. We already have these supplies at school.
